Jennifer Aniston went on a date last Thursday (01.07.10).

The 41-year-old actress - who was previously married to Hollywood heartthrob Brad Pitt, and has dated Vince Vaughn and John Mayer - headed out on a special dinner in Los Angeles with actor Christopher Gartin.

The pair split a burger and drank a bottle of Veuve Clicquot Rose at the Sunset Tower Hotel and Restaurant, where they discussed the benefits of pool chlorination.

A source told America’s OK! magazine: “She was bubbly in demeanour, seeming to be rather enthusiastic about something.

Naomi Campbell used to think she “wouldn’t survive” the modelling world.

The 40-year-old British beauty admits she pushed herself too hard because she thought she would go “crazy” if she had to sit down and evaluate what she wanted out of life.

She said: “To be honest, there were times I thought I wouldn’t survive. The time between 1998 and 2005 was especially bad. During that time I avoided looking in the mirror, because I didn’t like the person who was looking back at me.

“So I had to find out what I wanted and what I didn’t want. The thing is, as a model you’re used to being on the go, so just the thought of sitting down and thinking about something drives you crazy.

Naomi Campbell celebrated her 40th birthday by partying with Jennifer Lopez and Mary J. Blige.

The model and the two stars danced to a 45-minute set by the Black Eyed Peas at the bash held at the Hotel Du Cap in Cannes and organised by Naomi’s billionaire boyfriend Vladislav Doronin.

A source said: “Naomi was loving every minute of it, she had so much energy and was dancing all night. It felt more like a party for someone in their 20s.”

Other guests included Grace Jones and model Eva Herzigova - who arrived by boat.

Samuel L. Jackson is “not ready” for a naked role.

The 62-year-old actor has a love scene in his new movie ‘Mother and Child’ with Australian actress Naomi Watts, but he kept his clothes on during filming.

He said: “My manager and publicist have always told me, ‘You have to find a film where you get the girl. We want women that look at you and go, ‘Oooh.” I was like, ‘Yeah, right, never gonna happen.’”

“There I was in bed with Naomi Watts. Maybe this will spark some whole new career arc for me. But I’m not ready for nudity. Believe me, you don’t want to see all of me on a big screen. Naomi and I were going for it, but we kept most of our clothes on.”

Kate Moss has commissioned Banksy to paint a mural in her mansion.

The supermodel - who recently splashed out on a top-of-the-range sauna and steam room for her £7 million north London home - is paying the British guerrilla artist £150,000 to create a custom-made “eclectic” painting of her on a wall inside her home.

A source said: “Kate is a big fan of Banksy and has several prints of his, plus a few originals, at her home. He has even done a portrait of Moss herself. She explained exactly what she wanted and Banksy gave her a quote. It wasn’t cheap.

“Kate asked for an entire wall to be painted, showing Kate on the catwalk at all stages of her career - from a fresh-faced 16 year old to her last appearance earlier this year. It is pretty eclectic. Banksy has even been given a set of keys so he can let himself in.”

Naomi Campbell broke down in tears as she blamed her notorious temper on “abandonment issues”.

The supermodel was questioned by TV host Oprah Winfrey, who confronted her frankly about her temper - which has seen her previously lash out at her own staff, camera crews, police officers and airline workers.

Naomi blamed her furious outbursts on her mother, who left her at home while she pursued a career as a ballet dancer.

When asked by Oprah if she was “just a petulant diva”, she replied: “It comes from a deeper place than that with me. It comes from another type of emotional disorder because it’s not just, if I don’t get what I want I throw a fit.
