On the site itself

  • Want to read the latest gossip? Start on the front page to read the six most recent stories - and click “Older news” at the bottom of that page if you want to read more. Our most recent story is always posted to the top of the front page.
  • Want to read about a particular celebrity? The ten hottest celebrities each week are listed on the top left of the page - just click on their name to read the most recent stories about them. We consider them hot because there are a lot of stories about them that week - that link will take you to all the stories about them, with the newest ones at the top of the page.
  • If your celebrity isn’t listed there, you can either search their name using the handy search box in the left-hand column or click “All celebrities” at the bottom of the Hot Celebrities list and find their name in that “tag cosmos”. That will bring up all the stories that have been tagged as being about them.

Using RSS Feedreaders

You can keep up to date with the news as it comes in by signing up to the site’s RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feed rather than having to visit the site constantly on just to check if a new story has been added.

If you’ve never heard of RSS before, you can learn more about using RSS on the BBC’s website.

To sign up for Fametastic’s RSS feed, you should point your RSS feedreader (such as Google Reader or Bloglines) to here: http://fametastic.co.uk/feed/.

You can also read Fametastic through your friends list on LiveJournal - just click the “LiveJournal” button at the bottom of the right-hand column (below the adverts) or click here.

Get the day’s headlines emailed out to you

Fametastic uses Feedburner to delivery the day’s headlines directly to your inbox once a day. The email is currently sent out at 6pm GMT (12 noon CST).

To sign up, click the “by email” button at the bottom of the right-hand column (below the adverts) or click here. Type in your email address and the spam protection doohickey then click the “Complete Subscription Request” button to sign up.

If you sign up for the Feedburner service, Fametastic will not use your email address for any other purpose aside from sending you the daily news. We hate spammers so aren’t going to become like them.

You can unsubscribe from the service at any time - there is a link at the bottom of each email or just contact us.
