Since both of their films have been on release for a couple of months now, the Cruise-Holmes gossip wagon has been quieter of late. We liked to think that their helter-skelter relationship, with endless platitudes and gushing, had calmed down a bit too but Katie still sounds to be very much entranced.

She recently revealed that despite their 16-year age gap, the attraction between them was immediate.

“It was almost from the very first moment. I had never met anyone who is so full of life, so secure in who he is and what he does. It’s a beautiful thing to be able to fall in love with a man like him.”

She went on to add: “I’ve been a fan of his for so long… When you find yourself in love with someone like that for real, it’s almost like being in a dream. A very nice dream.”

Jessie Wallace might be leaving Eastenders but that doesn’t mean the BBC wants to let go of her - quite the opposite in fact. According to an insider, scriptwriters are working on a number of projects for her for when she leaves the soap in October. These include a comedy, a costume drama and a thriller.

“The BBC have high hopes for Jessie and are planning to create a star vehicle in which to showcase her talents,” the source has blabbed. “There are lots of ideas out there but Jessie wants to make sure that what she is doing is absolutely right for her career.”

Evangeline Lilly is claiming she isn’t allowed to brush her hair and is always covered in dirt during the filming of hit tv show “Lost” to ensure that she looks as realistic as possible.

“How I wake up is how my hair stays in the show,” she says. “We wear almost no make-up and a lot of dirt and oil. They cover us in it. I’m disappointed that we come across as perfectly manicured and coiffed as my nails are always filthy, my hands are always scratched up and I’ve always got bruises all over my body. I think I look exactly how I would if I was genuinely stranded on a tropical island.”

In a recent interview with Esquire magazine, Jennifer Connelly has admitted to liking distraction during sex with her husband, Paul Bettany.

“I just don’t like to multi-task. I can’t read a book and run on the treadmill; I don’t like to be on the phone and play with the kids. Except having sex. I do like to read a book while having sex. And talk on the phone. You can get so much done.”

She added: “If the room’s dark enough, I like to do some online shopping.”

We just wonder what Paul thinks about that!

It looks like Jude Law is making headway in wooing back Sienna Miller - they’re going to attend her sister’s wedding together next month.

A source told The Sun: “Jude is delighted Sienna wants him there. He’s keen to show her family he still loves her.”

Demi Moore has been speaking candidly to Harper’s Bazaar magazine about the future of her relationship with boyfriend Ashton Kutcher.

“The next phase [of the relationship]? The growth of our family. Which is all the things we truly desire … to expand our family,” she said.

Demi already has three daughters, Rumer, Scout and Tallulah Belle, with ex-husband Bruce Willis.

She went on to describe her ideal night with Ashton: “sharing a bath with one another and watching Court TV. Snuggling up naked” or “going out dancing … and going to the movies and having no-butter popcorn, holding hands… and then maybe the bathtub, or swimming naked in the pool.”
