Paris Hilton with a small yappy dogShy, retiring Paris Hilton has been behaving strangely about the release of her new film National Lampoon’s Pledge This. She seems to be actively courting attention and setting up a competition by her film released on the same day as one friend, now-rival Nicole Richie’s movie Kids In America.

Kids in America producer Andrew Shaifer told America’s Star magazine that he thinks Hilton deliberately selected the date as a publicity stunt.

He is also reported as saying, “After seeing House of Wax, we obviously got the better actress!”.
