Pete Doherty has another court hearing to add to his already busy calendar: he’s been arrested and bailed on suspicion of administering noxious substances after photographs in the Sun newspaper apparently showed him injecting a female fan with heroin.

He’s already on bail related to his arrest last week for possession with intent to supply class A drugs.

About yesterday’s arrest, a police spokesperson said: “He was released on bail to return on a date in July pending further inquiries.”

The Sun is reporting that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, sorry, KATE Holmes will get married on 1st July this year and the couple have apparently hired a Beatles tribute band to play at the reception.

Tom’s Mission: Impossible III co-star Simon Pegg recommended the tribute band the Backbeat Beatles after they played at his own nupitals last year.

“I’ve been giving Tom wedding advice,” he revealed at the MI3 premiere this week. “It was me who told Tom to book the Backbeat Beatles. They’re amazing.”

Charlotte Church is apparently “scared sick” that boyfriend Gavin Henson will leave her unless she loses her curves.

“I’m a curvy girl - I’m not one of those skinny models with a tent on, which is how most of them seem to look these days,” Charlotte told Closer magazine, defending her figure but a close friend has told More that she’s really trying to slim down again.

The friend revealed that Gavin has “admitted he preferred her when she was slimmer. She then said Gavin had told her she’d gotten too fat. She was totally mortified.”

“She’s determined to lose the weight. She’s going to eat more healthily and plans to use her new gym three or four times a week. She’ll walk regularly and use hotel gyms when she’s away.”

Sadie Frost is apparently regretting that she agreed to take part in a fundraising event for charity ‘Homes for Hope’.

The actress-turned-fashion-designer flew to South Africa to help build new accommodation for 12 orphans in the rural KwaZulu-Natal province but has been struggling with to get through the day. Sadie is expected to help with both planning and building - in torrential rain and mud.

She is also finding it hard to adjust to the basic accommodation that the party is staying in: hard, narrow beds in dormitories for eight people.

A friend has told the Daily Express: “She’s contacted her mates back home to say that it is so uncomfortable that she’s even considering looking for a hotel to escape to.”

“Sadie is doing everything she can to try to keep up her spirits, but has been texting friends to say she is having quite a hard time.”

Sadie’s party has raised £24,000 for the charity so far.
