The England football team’s Wives and Girlfriends are truly beginning to bond - and relax - in Germany: a group of them decided to visit Europa, Germany’s biggest theme park, for the day.

Coleen McLoughlin (Wayne Rooney), Carly Zucker (Joe Cole), Alex Curran (Steven Gerrard), Elen Rives (Frank Lampard), Michaela Henderson-Thynne (Stuart Downing), Lisa Roughead (Michael Carrick) and Toni Poole (John Terry) headed to the theme park, close to the border with France, to ride the white-knuckle roller coasters and water-rides.

The group were treated as VIPs - skipping all the queues, before tucking into standard fairground snacks such as candy floss and toffee apples.

An onlooker told the Sun: “The girls all looked lovely and had a whale of a time. Some of the roller coasters were not for the faint-hearted but the girls took them in their stride.”

“They’re certainly very pretty and love to have fun and no one seemed to mind them being taken to the front of the queues for the rides.”

Johnny Depp has denied that he’s going to play Michael Hutchence in the forthcoming biopic about the INXS singer, Slide Away and even if he was offered the part, he doesn’t think he’ll be able to do it.

He said: “No one ever approached me about it. I don’t think I’d be the guy to play Michael. I knew him pretty well.”

“He was pretty broad, Michael. He was kind of a glam guy. He was like a god, like a shaman, so I don’t think I’d be the guy.”

• Kate Moss has spoken publicly about the infamous cocaine photographs that were published last September, nearly ending her modeling career. She admitted: “I know I’ve been really stupid and childish. I mean, I’m still very childish and I always will be. But I am 10,000 times smarter than before.”
• Cindy Crawford has had three moles removed from her torso because she’s worried about skin cancer - but her famous facial mole is ok: “The mole on my face isn’t the type that’s dangerous, but I have others and I get checked every year. The three I had removed looked like a collection of almost flat, tiny spots.”
• Britney Spears might be craving something as simple as ice but Anna Nicole Smith, who is six months pregnant with her second child, has been having less healthy cravings. “I’ve been craving peanut butter and mayonnaise fried cheese sandwiches,” she revealed recently.

It sounds like Angelina Jolie doesn’t like Brad Pitt’s taste in furniture any more than his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston did.

Angelina has insisted that he gets rid of most of the designer furniture from their Malibu home, including Frank Lloyd Wright side chairs and a Rene Herbst desk - and anything he bought together with Jennifer.

A source has revealed: “Now they’re a family, Ange wants to make the home their own.”

“The pieces Brad collected with Jen were among the first to go. Then the child-unfriendly stuff was ditched - all the pointy corners and sharp edges.”

“Ange can’t stand all the modernist furnishings.”

Jennifer Aniston had previously expressed a dislike for the furniture too: “Brad and I used to joke that every item was either a museum piece or just uncomfortable. He had his style and I have mine and, sometimes, they clashed.”

Madonna might have given up on her acting plans but she’s not turning her back on movies completely: she’s now decided she wanted to work on the other side of the camera.

Speaking to the New York Post, Madonna revealed: “I’m more interested in directing now. I’ve so many tales to tell.”

“Making movies for me was never about being a big movie star, it was about being a good actress.”

“But it’s not easy with critics going after you before the movie is even released. It’s easier to be a visionary as a director.”

She didn’t reveal how film director husband Guy Ritchie took the news of her plans but she did reveal that married life has taught her a lot.

“Marriage is a contest of generosity, sometimes I lose, sometimes I win. But I’m still in the game and it has taught me the art of compromise and diplomacy.”

Keira revealed: “I was saying, ‘give me one kiss, just give me one kiss’, I got it and it was good, really good.”

And as if that wasn’t enough, Keira’s character, Elizabeth Swann, is preparing to marry the character of Will Turner, played by Orlando Bloom which thrilled Keira no end: “It’s like, ‘Wonderful, I can have feelings for both these very beautiful men’.”
