Nicole Kidman’s spokesperson Catherine Olim has insisted that magazines paying for images of Nicole looking pregnant are wasting their money.

Nicole has been plagued with rumours that she’s expecting since she started dating now-husband Keith Urban but Olim insists it’s just lies and fakery on behalf of the paparazzi.

After one magazine paid $20,000 for a photo of “pregnant” Nicole, Olim told MSNBC: “[I’m] afraid they wasted their money. [Nicole’s] not pregnant.” Olim

“[Nicole wouldn’t be] shooting a film, traveling to Rome for another film, then shooting another film if she were.”

“Incidentally, I’m virtually certain paparazzi are distorting photos to make her look pregnant. I’ve seen her, she’s her regular slender self.”

Zach Braff is annoyed that he’s been made out to be a club-hopping serial-dater since he broke up with Mandy Moore.

Zach told David Letterman on Tuesday: “I’ve been learning a lot about myself from reading about all the stuff I’ve been up to, not based on any form of truth.”

“I lead a pretty boring life - I sit at home, I’m on the Internet, I eat cereal - that’s a typical night for me.”

“I read online about all the places I’ve been out partying and all the women I’ve been out partying with. I’m like, ‘Wow, I should probably go to that place. It sounds like a fun. It sounds like I had a good time there.’ I’m kind of jealous of the life I’m supposedly leading.”

“Here’s how the whole thing works. I actually decided, ‘Maybe I’ll go out. It’s the summertime, I’m off from Scrubs’. So I go out a little bit and they write all about me being this crazy party guy, like I’m Paris Hilton or something. I’m like the male Paris Hilton.

“So then I’m like, ‘I don’t like that. I don’t like being in the tabloids, so I’m just going to stay home. I’m going to be a homebody, I’m going to write’. A week later a tabloid comes out with - ‘Zach Braff Will Not Leave His Home!’ You can’t win! I just gave up on it.”

Now that Ocean’s playmates Matt Damon and Brad Pitt are are in the “new dads club”, George Clooney has found himself another co-star to hang around with instead: Ellen Barkin.

The Mirror is reporting that Ellen and George are dating after meeting on the film set and George has told friends he’s “electrified” by her.

The friend told the newspaper George enjoys the conversations he has with the 52 year old actress while Ellen is using George as a “shoulder to cry on” about her sudden divorce from husband Ron Perelman earlier this year.

The friend added: “she fancies him like mad and you can cut the sexual chemistry on set with a knife.”

“He is so different from her ex husband, which she loves.”

Jessica Simpson has confessed that, as many people expected, she had cosmetic surgery to give her a fuller (or fishier as it turned out) pout last autumn.

She had a new collagen-replacement gel, Restylane, injected into her lips but she won’t be repeating the experience any time soon.

She told Glamour magazine: “I had that Restylane stuff. It looked fake to me. I didn’t like that. But it went away in, like, four months. My lips are back to what they were. Thank God!”

• Cat Deeley has reportedly celebrated signed a £2million deal to continue hosting So You Think You Can Dance in the US by buying Marilyn Monroe’s former Hollywood home. Cat picked up the property for around £2million but insists it doesn’t mean she’s moving to the US full time: “This is not my permanent home - I’ll always come back to Britain,” she said of her purchase.
• The Mayor of Las Vegas decided that Tuesday (29th August) was “Paris Hilton Day” across the city. Paris, who is in Vegas to promote her self-titled debut album, was presented with a key to the city and in thanks said Las Vegas was her “favourite place in the world to come to party”.
• Sky Showbiz is reporting that despite recent claims of being too young for it, Beyoncé Knowles is planning “the wedding to end all weddings” this November. Sky Showbiz claims Beyoncé and boyfriend Jay-Z are planning on spending $3million on the ceremony on the Caribbean island, Anguilla, with Beyoncé’s former Destiny’s Child bandmates, Michelle and Kelly, and younger sister Solange, as bridesmaids.

Penny Lancaster has revealed she is planning to have another child with fiance Rod Stewart - but will wait until after the couple marry next summer.

Rod already has six children from previous relationships but Penny became a mum for the first time last November when she gave birth to their son, Alistair.

In an interview with Sharon Osbourne, Penny revealed they’re planning “a brother or sister” for Alistair after they marry “next summer, June or July.”

She also revealed that despite currently teething Alistair “is so good, an angel, his character is like his daddy’s.”

“Naughty, very funny and he brings a sparkle every time. I can’t wait, if I’ve been out for an evening, to see him.”
