Coleen McLoughlin warns don’t spend like a WAG unless you are one

Coleen McLoughlinColeen McLoughlin has warned about young women about getting into debt while trying to emulate her lifestyle.

Coleen, the fiancee of Manchester United and England footballer Wayne Rooney, used her column in Closer magazine to issue the warning and encourage them to stick to high street rather than designer fashions.

She said: “Apparently more young women are getting into debt because they try to shop and party like a footballer’s wife. If I heard of anyone doing that I’d tell them to get a grip.”

“You can look amazing on a budget.”

Coleen is renowned for her love of both designer clothes and pile-’em-high, sell-’em-cheap Primark.

Martin Sheen to start at university in Ireland next month

Martin SheenWith The West Wing coming to an end, Martin Sheen has decided to take a break from acting to return to university.

The actor, who turned 66 earlier this month, has chosen the National University of Ireland in Galway for his studies after being granted an honorary degree from the university last year for his acting and “his consistent and meaningful engagement with civil society”.

A spokesperson for the university confirmed that Martin will be arriving for registration within in the next two week and will be a full time student, reading English literature, philosophy and oceanography.

Martin has previously revealed that he purposely failed his entrance exam to the University of Dayton when he was a teenager so that he could concentrate on his acting. About his return to studies after his 48-year-long gap year, he said: “I’m very serious about it. I never went to college when I was young and am looking forward to giving it a try.”

Sheryl Crow: I feel sorry for Michael Jackson

Sheryl CrowSheryl Crow believes Michael Jackson is deeply unhappy and she feels sorry for him.

Before becoming a successful solo performer, Sheryl sang backing vocals with Michael on his ‘Bad’ tour.

She said recently: “I feel sorry for him because you can look at him and see that he’s an unhappy person.”

“You don’t change your stamp by doing all that plastic surgery and portray yourself to be happy.”

Jessica Simpson confirms she’s dating John Mayer

Jessica SimpsonJessica Simpson has reportedly confirmed that she is dating fellow singer John Mayer - her first relationship since her divorce from husband Nick Lachey earlier this year.

According to reports in Us Weekly, Jessica told the magazine that their relationship was “great” but that she wanted to “keep it private”.

Another source close to the pair added: “[Jessica]’s tiptoeing back into the dating world. It’s the first stage. She’s never been happier.”

Leah Remini: stop obsessing about Suri Cruise, she’s normal

Leah Remini doesn’t understand the public fascination to see Suri Cruise.

Leah, a friend of the Cruise family, insists there is nothing amiss with Tom and fiancee Katie Holmes keeping Suri out of the spotlight since her birth in April.

Leah, who met Suri last month, insists Suri “is a normal baby. She’s a well-loved and protected baby. She’s with normal people.”

“I don’t understand the craziness. She c**ps in her diaper, she pees in her diaper and wakes up every couple of hours. There’s nothing abnormal about Suri.”

The first pictures of Suri are expected to appear in an autumn issue of Vanity Fair after the tot was photographed recently by Vanity Fair’s portrait photographer Annie Leibovitz.

Michael Douglas, not jealous of attention given to Catherine Zeta Jones

Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael DouglasMichael Douglas has revealed he’s happy to step aside and let wife Catherine Zeta-Jones have her time in the spotlight because he’s “been there and done that” when he was a younger actor.

He revealed recently: “I’m letting Catherine call the shots because she’s in the prime of her career.”

“The fact is I don’t compete with her for parts or attention. We do the red carpet and people will say, ‘Catherine, can we get a picture of you alone, for the dress?’”

“I have no problem with that and it makes for a more comfortable relationship. I can see why it would be hard for her to be with someone closer to her own age.”
