Katie HolmesA source has revealed that Katie Holmes was a forerunner for the role of Edie Sedwick in the film Factory Girl until fiancé Tom Cruise made her turn it down.

Tom, apparently, disliked the fact that Edie had been in and out of mental institutions and taken psychotropic drugs - both things which Tom has spoken out against recently since they are not in keeping with the philosophies of his beloved Scientology.

Instead, Sienna Miller got the role in the film which is currently in production while Katie is currently producing Cruise offspring…
