Keisha Buchanan of the SugababesKeisha Buchanan from the Sugababes has split from boyfriend Zane Alliluyeva after three years together.

“Zane’s one of my best friends but things hadn’t been right with us for ages. We’ve always been quite on and off and that was going on for the past year. It didn’t end badly, it pretty much just dried up,” Keisha told the Mirror.

Despite her busy pop life and Zane’s basketball career, Keisha is being honest about the reason for the split: “I’m not going to blame work. Whenever I hear that I think it’s just an excuse.”

“If you really want your relationship to work, it will. I met him after being in Sugababes so it had nothing to do with the job. I was with him since the age of 18, but people change.

“We went through a lot together and we’ll always love each other but we just weren’t connecting. In between those ages you’re learning so much about yourself and that’s where you do your most vital growing and you become different people.

Keisha is happy to follow Sienna Miller’s staying single philosophy but is not closing her eyes to the eye-candy around her in the biz.

“I think Mark Wahlberg is really good-looking and I’ve always had a thing for Pharrell Williams. Whenever I meet him he always pays me a nice compliment but the next time he forgets who I am. I’ll have to work on my pulling technique.”
