Cat DeeleyCat Deeley has reportedly been dumped by her boyfriend of five years, PR executive Mark Whelan.

“Mark has been going through a period of reassessing his life and decided his future wasn’t with Cat,” a source close to Cat has revealed.

“They had a long talk last Saturday and both decided it was the right thing to go their separate ways.”

“Mark came to the conclusion that Cat wasn’t going to be the girl he spent the rest of his life with.”

“He knew they weren’t going to get married. But he is still very upset about splitting up with her. He loves Cat but he knows that long-term the relationship isn’t right so he felt he had to end it. Cat is heart-broken of course, but after thinking about it she came to the same conclusion.”

“She is really concentrating on her career at the moment and is excited about going to America to work. She wants to try and get herself known in the States so she is planning to spend more time there anyway.”

“Neither of them has met anyone else and they are still friends.”
