Katie Holmes’ family enraged by Australia trip
Katie Holmes‘ family is reportedly outraged at Katie’s devotion to fiancé Tom Cruise and her punishing travelling-schedule.
US magazine Star is reporting that Katie had promised her parents that she wouldn’t accompany Tom to Kerry Packer’s memorial service in Australia earlier this month.
But then, to refute allegations that their relationship was in trouble, heavily pregnant Katie joined Tom for the 28-hour round trip.
A source close to the family has revealed that “Katie asked her mom not to tell [her father] Martin [about the trip] but Kathy insisted and passed the phone.”
“He hit the roof! He told Katie he thought she was endangering the baby’s health, as well as her own.”
Once in Sydney, the couple publicly (if somewhat uncomfortable) displayed that they were still very much an item, leaving Katie with very little time to relax.
Between trips to Australia and thrice-daily visits to her local Scientology church, it looks like Katie’s last few weeks of pregnancy will be far from restful ones…

The whole relationship has just been about Tom being out to prove one thing or another.
He repeatedly sticks his tongue down his throat therfore he isn’t gay.
He impregnates her therefore he is neither gay or barren.
She goes over to Scientology therefore he isn’t crazy, it’s a legitmate religion.
She accompanies to Australia therefore they aren’t splitting up.
No wonder her parents are pissed.

Booloo: if you’re suggesting that I’m touchy and over-reacting to this because my boyfriend-then-fiancee (ab)used our relationship to advance his own career and prove he wasn’t gay, sterile and that Scientology was a perfectly normal religion - well, if you’re doing that you’re wrong.
Because he wasn’t a Scientologist. He was a Mormon. So you know, COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SITUATION.

How sad. How very, very sad, that KATIE Holmes is losing her faith, her identity, her soul. She is smitten, not in love it seems to me. When I see her, she looks like she is star-struck and idolizes the older man/actor/celeb. I hope she frees herself from the chains that bind, soon!

Dr C I totally agree! I predict her smitten-ness will fade with time. I hope we get the old Katie back. I don’t like the Katie I’ve seen since she’s been with Cruise, and I think her parents would agree.
