Charlotte ChurchChannel 4 are set to launch a new Friday evening chat show - with Charlotte Church at the helm.

The programme will follow in the footsteps of TFI Friday and The Priory by combining chat with live music and comedy.

A source from the channel has revealed why Charlotte got the gig: “If we can get this right it will be amazing. Charlotte’s got a great personality.

“She’s so young but has been in the public eye for so long that there is a certain fearlessness about her.

“And she wants to give it a go because she thinks it will be a fun and cool thing to do.”
