George Clooney, ‘miserable failure’ at relationships
George Clooney has decided he’ll concentrate on work rather than his love life - because he’s so bad at relationships.
“I’ve failed miserably at all of them,” he confessed recently. “I can say that it was always me. You can’t describe me as a great success.”
“I shouldn’t be putting out books on relationships - How To Date, by George.”
It feels like George has been linked to just about every high profile actress in Hollywood at some point - just last month, he was seen getting cosy with ex-girlfriend Renee Zellweger - but he doesn’t feel like he’s learnt from all his liaisons.
“I should stick to directing, that seems to be what I’ve learnt the most.”
George’s film Good Night and Good Luck is up for three Oscars next week, including Best Director for the man himself.

# Oscar Confidential... on March 2nd, 2006 at 6:38 pm
This is not a Miserable Failure, This the Best Love Story during this Oscars Period.
Oscars 2006, will be in my opinion and without doubt, the best period and the event we didn’t have for a long time.
It will not because only the “Prizes”, “Statuettes”, “Oscar”. Even though I heard several time, statuette’s name changed so many times and several journalists didn’t hesitate to revendicaded it.
One of them told us, that in the start an editorialist wrote “Academy award of Merit”, is that true?
Another one told us the same thing with proud and then, he decided to call it Oscar.
Someone else, said : Oh yes, I gave this name and I chose it by myself, because I wanted to remind people one of Vaudeville special scene ! like : “Hey, man did he says with a Dexter Gordon attitude. Do you have a Monte Cristo “cigare”, dear Oscar?”.
Fellini, made a special other scene like Vaudeville, but not in that one.
Fellini made a special Romance – special conditions and this year “The Cowboys” gay couple can be, in another words.
But in my opinion, the Passion kiss from the movie : “La Dolce Vita”, is such romantic for me and we could find out during this ceremony another Confidential Envelope…but please come back with the nominees.
“In my opinion, all of them deserve an Oscar”.
The subjects are very interesting, very critics this year and very complex also.
The risks, espacially when actors getting suffer, pain, reliefs just for their roles.
I am agree with you that George Clooney deserve an Oscar for his role in “Syriana”.
Some other actresses must change her mind and her body, and be the hero – or - heroin. I am talking about Miss Felicity Huffman, for “Transamerica”. Of course she deserves a big Oscar. So, let me know if next time, I sould cast a woman or a Man? Even everyone knows what’s under her skirt…
For the Drama and Tragic situation, I predicted and Oscar for Michelle Williams, this wife who is in love with her husband. Really in love, crazy in love. She is fragile, confused, sad and sensitive person. Michelle Williams gives also the perfect advices : “He allows you to be anything and everything and the best possible version of yourself”. Thank you Michelle.
Keira Knightley celebrate romance with that celebrates innocence, really… so another Oscar for Keira in “Pride and Prejudice”.
For the others actors, sorry about that, but I can’t nominated all of them. Jon Stewart will do it. He will make his best. Doesn’t he?
So Jon Stewart, please we will watch you and don’t forget your words, your Oscar Bible because you could be on the next cast…thank you.
My Opinion is that there is -one Nominee for me.
My predictions is : “Four” Oscars for that special Oscar Confidential Envelope and Red kisses for reliefs…
My -nominee deserve more and more Oscarsss. How many that I told you? Three? O God. No Dear. Four Oscars in the same night ! Wow .
What do you think about it? It’s sound good for me. Really. The Staff Writers and all the Academy Award is behind the scene already and I am behind the cutain.
I heard also that James Bates is completly agree. Doesn’t he ? and Don’t you?
You should, because who knows if this nominee is an Oscar – by himself !
Or does he in Osc-war in love situation?
Even though Fellini made a special Romance there is a long time ago, this kind of romance is till exist. See, “The Cowboys” Couple …
The Passion kiss from “La Dolce Vita”, is such romantic and we could find out at Oscar 2006 Spirit Award.
Hollywood adores- it and this Spirit Award can be for sure the next perfect script, (George Clooney should be interested and get ready for the cast- Role cast) which is almost done.
But who will nominate La Dolce Vita? Oscar, Vaudeville, Shakespeare, Moliere or YOU? Such as your wishe…as mine beauty - love. We Wish We Will Win together.
It will be great to see both of us, go home winners on Oscar night.
So don’t Give up George. It’s worth it.
