Eva MendesEva Mendes is denying rumours that she’s dating co-star Joaquin Phoenix. The couple were spotted dining together at a New York restaurant on Monday night.

An onlooker described how they “were absolutely adorable together” as they “held hands and danced together” at a nightclub after the meal.

Mendes’ spokesperson Nicole Caruso maintains it was just a case of a work night out: “They are just friends. They are in town doing a movie together called We Own The Night with Mark Wahlberg. Eva is still with her [long term] boyfriend.”
