George ClooneyIt seems like George Clooney solved his “who to take to the Oscars” dilemma - and it didn’t involve his mum and dad pulling on their gladrags. George sauntered down the red carpet with ex-girlfriend Krista Allen in tow.

The couple had an on-off relationship between 2002 and 2004 until Krista dumped him for not “respecting” her enough.

But the pair seemed happy enough last night: they had dinner together before hitting the awards show.

An onlooker told the Sun: “they looked really happy and relaxed together. They were holding hands and flirting like any loved-up couple would.”
