Uma ThurmanUma Thurman was accompanied to the Oscars by her publicist, Robert Garlock, because she’s split up from long-term partner Andre Balazs.

A source is claiming that it was Uma that did the deed last month: “They recently got into a huge fight and Uma dumped him. Uma had decided he was not the kind of man she would marry and was looking for a way out.”

Uma has confirmed the split saying “unfortunately, it is true. But we remain close friends.”
