Pete DohertyThe judge at Pete Doherty’s drug rehabilitation order review hearing has praised him for making “good progress” despite the fact he failed two drugs tests in the past fortnight and has been recently charged with seven counts of possession.

“It’s very good progress, a positive start. His determination seems to be increasing, not decreasing,” commented District Judge Jane McIvor at Thames Magistrates’ Court, adding that she didn’t expected his early tests to be negative.

However, if he tests positive again before his next review on 12th April, he’s likely to be jailed - if he’s not jailed today when he appears in court for those other seven charges…
