Why is it that women always want to blame men for leaving to be with another woman? I can honestly say that none of us can truthfuly say we know what happened between Brad and Jen other than speculation and what the “rags” want us to believe. How many times have read articles from one rag only to be contradicted by another. I can be sure of thing in the Brad/Jen affair: You can’t be thousands of miles apart continuously and expect a relationship to last PERIOD!! It seems that I recall that Jen wanted to further her acting career and pursue that elusive oscar( which I doubt seriously she will ever win) instead of focusing on her family or lack of. She went as far as to line 8 projects in a row, none of which amounted to little more than the pathetic sitcom “Friends”. Now I’m not infereing that women do not have the right to pursue a career, however at point do you think you should choose your family or your career, knowing that your marriage is already suffereing? Look at successfull hollywood couples such as Catherine Zeta-Jones and Micheal Douglas who rarely travel without each other or thier kids. At the time Mr. and Mrs Smith was filmed, Brad’s and Jen’s marriage was already on the rocks…seems to me maybe she should have taken time off to be with her husband on location in Italy instead of filming Derailed which was a flop. It also puzzles me why people dump on Brad for leaving Jen when he pretty much left Gwen Paltrow the same way(for Jen). Although they were not married they dated for quite some time. Now that he is with Angie everyone wants to point a finger and feel sorry for Jen, which brings me to my point. Most women are jealous of Angie because she is drop dead gorgeous, has money, intelligence and most of all untouchable sex appeal. Someone in a previous post refered to her as a bloodsucker, but I bet this person does not donate 1/3 of her salary to charitable organizations, nor would anyone pay her any attention if she went to congress for some important reason. Yes Angie is over the top pertaining to what we average people would consider normal, however she seems pretty content in having a family and standing by her man…….Exactly what Mr Pitt was looking for..
