Britney Spears and Kevin FederlineRumours that Kevin Federline is rather spend-happy with Britney Spears‘ money have been circulating before the pair married but now the New York Post is reporting that she’s formally giving him a spending allowance.

She apparently provides her husband with a set amount each month to spend on clothes, partying and “any day-to-day activities” like getting silly haircuts and presumably child-support for his other children.

“Any big items - cars or trips that go over allowance - need to be approved by Brit herself,” the source revealed.

Apparently it is for his own good: “She acknowledges she has made a great deal of money. However, she is trying to show Kevin that he needs to be responsible and curb his out-of-control spending habits.”
