The search for the role in forthcoming Bond-outing Casino Royale seemed to cover every actress in Hollywood and beyond but apparently, despite rumours to the contrary, Angelina was skipped over.

“I would have given my eye teeth to land a role in a Bond movie,” she told reporters according to IMDb.com.

Every girl at some point wants to be a Bond Girl and I read these reports… the truth is no one asked me, simple as that. Would I have said yes? Of course. I had just done Sky Captain, which now looks like the nearest I will get to the role of a Bond Girl.”
