Michael Douglas blasts short celebrity marriages
Michael Douglas has blasted short-lived celebrity marriages in a recent interview with GQ.
Michael spent 13 years with first wife, Diandra and shortly after divorcing her, he married Catherine Zeta-Jones in November 2000.
“You learn to respect something of value and nurture it and treat it well,” he says. “I mean, don’t ask me what happened with RenĂ©e Zellweger. I don’t know how you get married for four months.”
“And Julia Roberts with Lyle Lovett. There must be some incredible things you find out one night. I mean, I don’t know.”
He also lodged himself firmly in the Team Aniston camp, with an odd comment about Brad Pitt.
“I don’t know about Brad Pitt, leaving that beautiful woman to go hold orphans for Angelina. I mean how long is that going to last?”
Do you think Katie Price's marriage to Alex Reid will last?
