Will YoungWill Young is to follow in Charlotte Church’s footsteps and give up smoking for the sake of his voice.

“I’m trying [to give up] - it’s doing so much damage to my voice and my tour’s coming up. It’s hard but Charlotte is doing it, too,” he told the Mirror recently.

“She’s amazing. Unlike me, she smoked as much as she wanted but her voice was fine.”

Charlotte was the public face of last week’s No Smoking Day while Will is taking a more private route - he’s working his way through ‘Easy Ways To Stop Smoking’ by Alan Carr in a bid to cut down before stubbing them out completely.
