Josh Hartnett slams party girls for being bad role models

Josh Hartnett has slammed celebrity party girls for promoting self-obsession and shallowness to a younger generation.

“What scares me with pop culture is that people are starting to think that’s the way they should be,” he complained recently.

“Looking at my younger brother and sister and their friends, seeing my little sister’s friends looking, like, to Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton - I just don’t think that’s anything to strive for.”

He doesn’t think it’s just the wannabes suffering either.

“I don’t think those girls are too happy. And it’s like, the culture is so focused on a more self-oriented, kind of luck-based mentality.

It’s just like get what’s good for you.”
