Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber to split?

After nearly a year together, it looks like King Kong’s Naomi Watts and actor-director Liev Schreiber might be splitting up.

A source close to the pair has revealed that both are making “I want out” noises:

“He’s been telling people he’s having ‘girlfriend trouble’ and she’s been telling people to keep an eye out for new boyfriends.”

Naomi apparently find Liev too controlling: “He wants her to stop working entirely and have a baby. He wants to review all her script offers. He even likes her to look a certain way.”

Their publicists insist the rumours are just nonsense and Liev himself has dismissed the last one: “If anything, I’m grateful if Naomi gives me advice. Especially when it comes to dressing. She’s a lot more experienced with what to wear,” he revealed.
