Jennifer Aniston: Rumor Has It “worst experience of my life”
Jennifer Aniston has admitted to being bitterly disappointed with her last film Rumor Has It.
She described it as “the worst experience of my life, the worst experience; the worst film.”
The film stars Aniston as a woman that finds out her family inspired the novel, and thus film, of The Graduate:
“It sounded like a great idea, an interesting backdrop for a romantic comedy,” said Jen. “But it was never fleshed out, never fully realised.”
It didn’t help that it was her first role after her split from Brad Pitt: “for me personally, I was going through a horrible time.”
“I wasn’t at my best as an actor. I was unmotivated by it. Why talk about it?”
“We can let that little train go by.”

Jennifer Aniston should just move on with her life. She just keeps whining. Not a good actress anyway - just got lucky with Friends.

how many bombs must we endure. At least Vince Vaughn can carry the Break-up. He is really funny. Remember wedding crashers? I just hope they dont try to pass it off as if she is the success of the film. Sorry Jen you are just not that good..

Speaking of high maintenance, Jen’s Vogue interview is starting to make its way across the web and so we’ve been treated to yet another round of Aniston’s cerebral musings. When asked to comment on the colossal box office failure that was Rumour Has It, your favourite victim replied with the following:
“The worst experience of my life, the worst experience, the worst film. It sounded like a great idea, an interesting backdrop for a romantic comedy. But it was never fleshed out, never fully realized. And for me personally, I was going through a horrible time. I wasn’t at my best as an actor. I was unmotivated by it. Why talk about it? We can let that little train go by.’
Funny that. I seem to recall Nicole Kidman giving the best performance of her life in a movie called The Hours, filmed just after her headline making split with the man I like to call the Gay Midget Dwarf. Oh but wait. Nicole, despite freezing her entire head, can actually act. As for my weekly Aniston put down? Nah…I’m not going to address this issue much further. Especially since Perez and MK at Dlisted have done such a fine job of it already. Check out their hilarious criticisms here and here.
Pity party forever, y’all. Pity party forever.

If I can recall they had her picture up and center on the poster while every other star that was in the film was in the background. She was supposed to carry the film. I bet if they put Julia R. in it it would have done better. Mark G. is an excellent actor. Blame yourself for the film. It was your time to shine. But you stank instead.

I was looking for others who felt the same way I did. How much longer must we endure Aniston films? Actually, I’ve yet to go out and pay money to see one.
But, when is Hollywood going to realize that she isn’t going to bring in big bucks for a movie and let her drop?
Ugh…

I saw Aniston on Larry King a few months ago and I was struck by what a hard bitten character she has become. The disappointment of her failed marriage has erased much of her sweetness. It was her portrayal of the attractive ditzy girl next door that brought her to fame. She needs to change her attitude if she wants to succeed in light romantic comedies, where she has found success. I don’t know if she has the acting chops for serious drama.
