Another guilty plea for Pete Doherty
Pete Doherty has admitted he’s guilty of seven accounts of drug possession, over two different occasions.
In December, he was arrested while carrying amounts of heroin, crack cocaine, cannabis and cannabis resin, then in January, he was again caught with heroin, crack cocaine and cannabis.
The case has been adjourned until April 20, when he’s likely to be sentenced.
His defense lawyer Sean Curran believes Pete is heading in a positive direction with regards to his drug use.
“If Mr Doherty shows the inclination he has had on his first review, the court may look more favourably on him.”
“It will mean he can continue with the good work he has done under this order. It is still at its initial stages.”
Having said that, District Judge Jane McIvor warned Doherty that “all [sentencing] options” remain open.
On leaving the court, Pete didn’t react well to the awaiting media and kicked a microphone out of a Radio One reporter’s hand.

Good idea. But what help do you suggest? A decent jail sentence in isolation would be a good idea so he can’t score any drugs on the inside.

it’s almost as if he wants to be put in jail.
if he’s let off again on april 20th and repeatedly stabs someone while leaving court, you’ll know it’s true.
