Nicole Kidman and Russell Crowe’s new film hits difficulties
It looks like history is repeating itself for Nicole Kidman and Russell Crowe : the second film they’ve been set to star in together might be falling through.
The close friends were set to star in Eucalyptus last year but production halted after numerous script problems and disagreements. The new film, a World War Two epic directed by Baz Luhrmann, looks like it might be going the same way.
Luhrmann has publicly noted the difficulties and the fact that some of the crew have been released: “To say that it is a complex and large-scale undertaking is an understatement and I cannot formally announce the project until all of the crucial elements are secure.”
“Currently, they are not, and so it is true we’ve had to disengage some of our very loyal team. As soon as we are able to bring those crucial elements together I will be able to make a formal announcement concerning the starting date of the production, at which time it will also be named.”
Do you think Katie Price's marriage to Alex Reid will last?
