Nell McAndrew won’t stop worrying until baby is born

Nell McAndrew has been told that the baby she is carrying is perfectly healthy but Nell still can’t relax.

Last year, the model was forced to terminate her first pregnancy when doctors told her that the child had no chance of survival because of amniotic band disorder.

Talking to the Mirror, Nell has revealed that she was really worried about the scan this time: “It seemed to take an age for the doctor to put the gel on my tummy, then when he said, ‘Yes, everything is perfect’, I was overwhelmed.

“It was fantastic to get the all-clear but I didn’t enjoy the experience - it was too emotional.”

“Straight away I started worrying again because I know what can happen.”

“In fact, I don’t think I’ll stop worrying until I can actually see and touch my baby, and count its fingers and toes.”

“I can’t even look at the baby’s next stage of development in my baby books, in case I don’t get there. I’m too nervous to look further ahead than the next day.”

“The day my baby is born in perfect health will be the happiest of my life.”
