Jade GoodyJade Goody and her mum are having an argument through the newspapers about how Jade was treated while she was growing up.

According to “Jade: My Autobiography” which is currently being serialised in the News of the World, Jade was beaten by her mother on a frequent basis.

The Big Brother star claims “losing the use of her arm after the accident was infuriating for my mum. As a result of her frustration she often beat me.”

But her mum, Jackiey, has countered in the Daily Mirror - but also promoted her daugther’s book at the same time: “I only hit her once. I’ve seen what she wrote. It’s all there – you’ll have to read the book.”
