Have to say that after i saw Doherty on Jonathon Ross i felt like giving him a hug. He looked so vulnerable. But he has to want to give up drugs for himself, not for Kate. It has to come from your own soul, he will only end up resenting Kate for spoiling his fun at some point. Sophie Anderton is a d**k head anyway - who cares what she has to say.

Pete Doherty is a s****y f****r. His nails are black and his hair is greasy and also has a pasty face. Yuk. Yeah he may be a great muscician (I can’t see where!) but he is a diry junkie scum. How much help does he bloody well need? He has no respect for himself or anyone else by the sounds of it. Yeah, I do feel sorry for him in some respects because his addiction is an illness but he publicly boasts about his situation and thinks he is a hard man. Grow up Pete Doherty, you are a father and you really need to set a good example to all your young fans out there. Sophie Anderton was spot on, she has been there so she knows what it is like but I never saw her with dirty nails, greasy hair etc. He needs to sort it out before he ends up like all the other rock stars that have died due to drugs like Sid Vicious etc……….. You can all say that I am wrong but I know I am not. He has been offered rehab etc., but turns away from it because he doesn’t want to give up drugs yet. He has to want to. Fortunately I don’t know what it is like to be an addict to crack and heroin because I was never stupid enough to try it, but I assume you have to want to get off the stuff first to make some kind of progress and he just doesn’t want to yet, and he might be dead before he does. He might be good at poetry and writing lyrics but his performances suck because he is too high all the time to give a f**k about it!

Sorry but addiction isn’t an illness is a behavioural ‘choice’. You can choose to behave in other ways. This ‘illness’ is c**p aiming to get sympathy. Blame it on anything but your own behaviour. You are right Jade, Doherty doesn’t want to give up drugs - he loves them and ‘chooses’ to take them. Addicts just want sympathy for being addicts thus relinquishing responsibility for their own crappy behaviour. Mel Gibson is another - it was the drink and nothing to do with the fact that he is anti-semetic. These people are WEAK.
