Victoria Beckham gets a big birthday bash - and an £8million necklace too
David Beckham splashed out on a big birthday party for his wife Victoria yesterday to make up for last year.
A source close to the pair has revealed: “David felt terrible about missing Victoria’s last birthday because he was playing away for Real Madrid and wanted to make a big fuss of her this time.”
According to the Mirror, this year’s celebrations included thousands of pounds worth of flowers, a £200-a-head dinner made by top chefs flown from London to the Beckhams’ Madrid mansion and an £8million Bulgari necklace as a present for Posh herself.
Many of Victoria’s celebrity friends, including Sir Elton John and David Furnish, were expected to have been invited.

I don’t get why they give each other so many expensive presents & I don’t get why they always make a point of publicising each one - do they think it’s clever to spend more on a necklace than it would to feed hundreds of starving children - the beckhams never fail to leave a bad taste
