Billie Piper admits to “lashed” life with Chris Evans

Billie Piper has admitted to a life of drink and drugs while she was married to Chris Evans.

The pair married in 2001 when Billie was 18 and shied away from the media spotlight. Billie has now confessed that the couple went on frequent “benders” and experimented with drugs.

“I’ve had a few hedonistic times in my past,” she told GQ magazine recently. “It would be true to say I’ve partied hard in my past, yes. I’d have vodka Red Bull to start with, and then have about 15 more. Singles to start, and then I’d hit the doubles.”

“And then some good white wine. But it had to be nice stuff. Not that I would have noticed really because I’d be so lashed by that stage.”

Days spent drinking became quite the norm - but thankfully they had an understanding pub landlord: “We would get up about 10am, have a bite to eat, then climb in the local pub window if it wasn’t open and help ourselves to drink.”
