Pete DohertyPete Doherty has been arrested again, just hours after he was given a non-custodial sentence for seven drugs charges.

All his previous charges have been for possession of various drugs but yesterday afternoon’s arrest was for suspicion of possession with intent to supply.

A policespokesman confirmed that Doherty and another man “were arrested after a vehicle was stopped in Roman Road, east London, by plain clothed officers who were carrying out a patrol in an unmarked police car.

“They were arrested on suspicion of possessing what was believed to be class A drugs with the intent to supply.”

No information concerning bail arrangements or court dates has yet been released.
