Teri Hatcher has had a “parade of bad dates” since divorce

Teri Hatcher has revealed her love life is far from easy in a new book called “‘Burnt Toast And Other Philosophies Of Life”.

“People expect that if you’re pretty, successful, the boyfriend mission should be easy.”

“I never thought I’d be over 40 and have no one to go to dinner with, nor someone who loves me and whom I trust, but here I am. Sad but true.”

Since the end of her nine-year marriage to Jon Tenney, Teri claims to have had a “parade of bad dates” including a cocaine addict and someone who was addicted to “the pay-me-for-sex-type of woman”.

The Desperate Housewives star believes the abuse she suffered as a child - which she revealed earlier this year - has not helped her when it comes to building relationships: “It has not been easy for me to trust or commit to men, or to anyone, really.”
