Brad Pitt buys pledge of fidelity gem for Angelina Jolie

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Brad Pitt has bought Angelina Jolie an ivory and quartz crystal stone at a jewellery store last weekend, sparking yet more rumours that the pair are intending to marry in the near future.

According to local Namibian custom, grooms present their brides with the gem as a pledge of fidelity.

The pair have been rumoured to be about to marry since they announced Angelina was pregnant last year and sparked a media stampede to Lake Como in northern Italy last month when the couple seemed set to marry at friend George Clooney’s villa.

She seems real desperate to take her entrapment of Brad to an altar… I mean didnt she ask him to help her pick out a ring last June. Oh, what about the antique rings she bought last November. Oh, let us not forget about the cheap gold ring she had him buy in Haiti January of this year. Wait a minute what about the ring she wore in Paris in February. Now, yet another ring and another ridiculous lead in explanation. I am sorry it looks Angelina is crazy still, but it is the devious desperation which makes it most laughable. It is like she has got the mental emotional level of a 5ys old. It is all rather tacky and pathetic just same still too! K

K, you write as if you know Jolie really well! Have you got the keys to her itinerary or something? ;)

In my experience it is good to believe nothing that you read in the media, unless it’s been verified directly by the people being talked about.

In this case since it’s Jolie and Pitt I believe even less because I’ve already seen how the press is prepared to make up stuff to feed the public’s appetite for such tings.

They are well on their way to being a humanitarian couple. Much better than 90+% of the planet. They got their pilot licenses to drop food to starving people. They have gone directly to countries who need help. She has bought land in Africa as a refuge for the dispossessed. She is contributing a lot of money to universal education and telling Laura Bush that Idiot Bush should get on board. She is Special Ambassador for UNHCR. They are going to make wonderful movies together. They already have the family most racially blended and happy. These are all real achievements that have nothing to do with the media. These are two exceptional people who left spouses who were not up to the task. I wish them only well.

There are so much going on how bad Angelina is. She has done so much for third world countries…What is soooo good about Jennifer Aniston? Has she given anything to the world besides movies? What happens in Angelina’s bedroom is her business, what she gives to the world is much more important… The only thing that Jennifer Aniston is good for is being the ‘girl next door.’ Not to offend her supporters but she isn’t all the great in her movies either. She and Brad weren’t on the same page when it came to what mattered most in their marriage( Brad wanting a family and Jenn wanting her career). She claims that starting a family has always been on her agenda but now lets really look at things…. WHO HAS REALLY STARTED A FAMILY? BRAD!!! Who is really at fault for the marriage going to Splitsville? JENN!!!
Marriage or no marriage Angelina and Brad will be loving caring parents… Rings or no rings….

In my opinion Jolly is koo-koo…
she doesn’t have confidence in herself and in the man that stands beside her; and is normal when you know that you kind of stole that man from another relantionship and it is well known that what you do to others it can easily happen to you. Probably this is the reason she didn’t marry him yet. she is unsure about herself and about him too.
If you only look at the way she clings into her adopted kids you can see a deranged woman that by adopting bought herself some unconditional love. She can’t do this with Brad Pitt because she is not up to the task either.
they will not last; actually this couple will last only untill he will resist being in it, put up with her; she is not the endurance type…

Say what you will about all of this – the truth is that Angelina has gone from what I call a total freak (blood vials around the neck, kissing her brother) to an eloquent voice of the needy. She is a true humanitarian and many others in holiday should take her lead. With the voice of the famous, as Angelina has proven, many voices are heard. She is a true inspiration, and before people trash this poor girl they ought to look in the mirror and ask themselves what they have done lately for mankind. She makes me feel guilty for having no causes. Yes, she is amazingly beautiful and a hugely talented actress – but clearly she has shown more importantly she is a great human being. Jennifer Aniston is what she is – but Angelina could not have broken up a relationship that wasn’t in trouble so what if she did – Brad would not have left if he was happy – it is as simple as that. The press/media needs to leave this couple alone or their relationship won’t last. It’s sad that they cannot take their kids on a beach without every lens in the world marking their every move. I don’t see how they can survive this but I hope they do. Their contributions to signficant causes are more than 99.9 percent of other famous people so everyone should cut them some slack -

I really like Angelina Jolie and I think she has done a lot of good with Africa but what about America? What about children here who are suffering? Why does everyone think that we have to go to foreign countries to be seen as a humanitarian? I really would like some insight on this. Is it too difficult to adopt here or to give needy people a car or a house to live in? What about getting involved in Habitat for Humanity or starting a similar program here?
