Pamela AndersonPamela Anderson is happy that Jessica Simpson has been picked to play the Baywatch role that made Anderson a household name.

Jessica has been picked to play CJ Parker in the forthcoming film adaptation of the 1990s television show.

When questioned whether she thought Jessica could fill CJ’s shoes, um, swimsuit, Pamela replied: “Oh my goodness she sure could. Will Ferrell should play David Hasselhoff. That would be hot.”

Unfortunately, we know have a mental image on Will in Elf sauntering down the beach…
