Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban: to marry or to split?

Two tabloids are reporting conflicting news about Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban - they’ve either set a date for their wedding or are on the verge of splitting up.

According to the Sun, the couple will marry on 25 June this year in Sydney - a week before her ex-husband Tom Cruise is set to marry fiancée Katie Holmes.

However, the National Enquirer claims Keith is feeling their relationship is too rushed, with a source quoted as saying: “Keith told her he wanted to cool things down before the CMT Awards in Nashville in April… and Nicole was just gutted.”

No offense, but if they don’t marry on that day — June 25 — then any OTHER day they might pick will also have some tinge of tragedy to it. One of our good friends had a baby (by choice, induced) on Sept. 11. To me it was nothing short of a miracle, as in, God is good, and in the midst of great sadness can come great joy. Life is for living, and if Keith/Nicole should want to marry, I say go for it!

Keith Urban has proven again and again how much he values his privacy and for Nicole to continue to flaunt her “engagement” ring and play coy she needs publicity that is the nature of her occupation. This is in total disregard for Keith who she is apparently in love with and contrary to his need to keep his private life and the life of the person he wants to share his life with private and she should have honoured his wishes.
And for Nicole to urge Keith out of the country music genre is absurd. Keith lives, breathes and oozes country music with the celtic overtones and a genuine love and sincereity for his craft and the direction he wants to persue. Stay true to the path you desire Keith and fly with the grace of god!

If anything I’m more worried about Nicole than Keith, she’s so sweet and I’m sure she wouldn’t force him out of anything that he loved to do. Anyway I personally think that they’re very in love and if they make each other happy then they should just go for it. I’m a big supporter of them as a couple, Nicole hasn’t looked this happy since Tom. He broke her heart and she deserves some true love.

Nicole Kidman is beautiful and pure class. She has never done anything to publically embarass or hurt anyone she has ever been involved with. I am sure she is quiet about the whole engagement/marriage due to Tom Cruise, who appears to be a horrible man. Just recently it became public Tom Cruise had her phones wire tapped and her home bugged. You can be assured she was forced into signing an uber confidentiality agreement that she may never discuss the details of their split. I wouldn’t be surprised if clauses were written that don’t allow her to express anything publicly; hence, she must filter everything through her publicists. Keith Urban would be fortunate to marry her and share a life with her. It make me wonder if Tom Cruise is sabotaging her life as he did throughout their 10 year marriage. Nicole is entitled to happiness. Furthermore, for these women who comment on her not being pretty, I would love for them to post a picture of themselves…….I am sure we could all find serious flaws with their looks. The nasty comments already show a lack of class and kindness.

Nicole is beautiful, talented, smart, and kind. Who are you to judge? What have you accomplished to deem you the expert on beauty? You have already shown the ugyliness on your inside by posting such a rude nasty comment about a women who is intensely private and is highly involved with multiple charities. It is unfortunate you cannot post your picture, so we can see you in all your glory, since you are the beauty expert………..I am sure numerous flaws would be quite obvious to the human eye. Being pretty on the inside is far more important. Your comments are rude, trite, and unfounded. Bottomline: Classless and valueless.

I love Keith and Nicole as a couple! Nicole has a beautiful voice and I would love for them to do something together she did a song with Robbie William and it was number 1 in the UK. Well I’m on pins and needles to know the truth – are they together or not. For every piece they’ve broken up, there’s a piece indicating their together who knows but a worry is they have not been seen together for a while. I thought Keith told Barbara Walters he’s never away from her for more than 4 days. I think Nicole is one of most likeable and beautiful people in the world – how any man could think about breaking up with her -has to be crazy! Look at Tom -he certainly proved that point! But then again …Nicole deserves someone whose love is going to be strong, unconditional, real, unfailing and if Keith isn’t going to be faithful and love her like that than its better for them to break up and let her move on. She’s terrific and my guess is she hasn’t been hurting for marriage proposals, but she’s just picky and wants all or nothing. I certainly can’t imagine Keith finding anyone more beautiful inside and out than Nicole!

I just have to say that I have been a big fan of keith and i myself have been through a drug addiction due to the music industry. I overcame the addiction but found i was never going to be the same again. He needs our support.
