Demi Moore and Ashton KutcherBruce Willis is grateful to Will Smith for giving him advice on how to deal with divorce and befriends your ex’s new partner.

Bruce divorced Demi Moore in 2000 and she married Ashton Kutcher last year.

“I have to give credit … to Will Smith. At a time I really needed it he gave me the best advice of my life,” Bruce has revealed recently.

“He said, ‘You’ve got to let the kids know it’s okay for everyone to be together - you know, exes, new partners, whoever.’ And it’s worked.”

“Demi and I have been the best of friends since our divorce and I’m honestly great friends with Ashton too. We just hit it off and I think he has a great sense of humour”.

It seems Bruce and Demi’s three children approve of Ashton too: they call him “MOD”, short for “my other dad”. Aww.
