Jennifer Aniston and Vince VaughnJennifer Aniston’s plans to escape from Los Angeles seem to be coming together - she has bought a mansion in Chicago with boyfriend Vince Vaughn.

The 9-bedroom luxury home is in the same area of Chicago where Vince grew up and is estimated to have cost the stars around $12million.

A source close to the couple has been quoted as saying: “Jen and Vince have spent ages looking for the right place and when they found this, they knew it was perfect,” says a source close to the couple.

“It’s in a quiet, private neighbourhood and Vince is so well-liked there that he and Jen are hoping they’re just going to be allowed to keep a low profile and get on with their lives.”

“They signed the papers late last week and Jen would like to move as soon as possible.”

UPDATE: And this is the house, apparently… (We just hope they get new carpet in the room with the fireplace)
