In their spare time between the birth of their daughter, Suri, and Tom’s promotion of his other baby, Mission: Impossible III, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have found the time to finalise their pre-nupital agreement.

The pair are set to marry in the summer but whether they do or not, Tom has set up a $15million trust to support Katie and their daughter.

Katie Holmes and Tom CruiseIf they do marry and then divorce, Katie is now set to receive an additional $25million from Tom’s estimated fortune of $400million.

Katie’s dad Martin, a divorce lawyer, looked after his daughter’s side of the negotiations and the agreement has apparently lessened the tension between her family and Cruise.

A source has revealed: “Katie’s family have always been very sceptical about this romance.”

“They were shocked that Katie got pregnant so quickly and did not like the way she had turned her back on Catholicism for Scientology.

“But now this deal has been sorted out they are at least relieved that Katie and her baby will be financially secure for life, even if she doesn’t marry Tom.

“Tom has also made clear to Katie’s parents that he was happy to give her a chunk of his money because he feels sincere in his love for her. His attitude showed that he does love their daughter - even if they still have issues about the way she has changed since meeting him.”
