Former manager surprised at Take That’s comeback success
Take That’s former manager Nigel Martin-Smith is surprised at the success the band’s comeback tour.
Martin-Smith formed the orginally five-piece band in 1990 but was fired by the remaining four members last year because, according to Mark Owen, “there isn’t really a role for him now”.
“I can’t believe what a success the comeback has been,” Martin-Smith revealed recently.
“I thought they would do the tour and that would be it. But now they could tour every year and pack stadiums.”
The band have also recently signed a £3million deal to record a new album.
