Paris HiltonParis Hilton has always refused to discuss the reason she fell out with former best friend Nicole Richie but she has included a song about the end of their friendship on her debut album.

Paris insists that Nicole is “jealous” of Paris’ fame and Paris’ song “Jealousy” is an attack on her former The Simple Life co-star.

Paris explains the song is “about any girl. Any girl has a girlfriend that’s jealous of you. It’s the meanest, most evil thing that can take over you.

“I brought [Nicole] on The Simple Life, and all of a sudden she became this different person. She dropped her old friends and now she’s someone else.”

“That’s not the girl I know. That’s similar to the lyrics in ‘Jealousy’.”

In her recent interview with Vanity Fair though, Nicole claims it was her decision to end the friendship: “When I got out of rehab, I had to figure out what path to go down, and part of that included taking certain people out of my life.”

“I just decided I didn’t want to be [Paris’] friend anymore. We’re just two completely different people; we don’t have that much in common.”
