Lizzie Jagger backs out of film role due to nerves
Lizzie Jagger had the chance of a role in Sofia Coppola’s new film Marie-Antoinette but turned it down when she thought she wasn’t good enough for the part.
She initially convinced Coppola to offer her the role but then pulled out because she felt she couldn’t handle the film.
A source has revealed: “it’s almost unheard of for a budding actress to turn down such an opportunity. But Lizzie wants her first big part to be a success.”
“She explained this to Sofia and has now moved to Los Angeles, where she is getting one-on-one acting tuition to prepare her for her next part.”
Marie-Antoinette is set to premiere at the Cannes Film Festival later this month.
