Pete DohertyPete Doherty is set to have another implant fitted in an attempt to kich his drug habit.

The implant will be inserted into his stomach to slowly release a drug into his system to cancel out the effect of heroin.

The Sun is reporting that the Babyshambles star has apparently made an appointment at a clinic in Oxfordshire next week because he is “devestated” that ex-girlfriend Kate Moss has started a relationship with MTV presenter Russell Brand.

A source told the newspaper: “Kate really loves Pete but she cannot be with him if he continues to use drugs.”

“Russell is perfect for her because he has managed to get clean — and he makes her laugh.”

“Pete was furious to hear that she is dating him — especially as he is a pal of Pete’s old Libertines bandmate Carl Barat.”

“But he has vowed to get her back.”
