Nicole RichieIt seems like dad Lionel Richie was the last to know about his daughter Nicole’s split from her fiance Adam Goldstein.

On Saturday night, Lionel discussed their forthcoming wedding, not realising that the couple had split up again for the second time in six months.

The pair called off their engagment last December but reunited again in March. Now Cindy Guagenti, Nicole’s publicist, has issued a statement on behalf of both Nicole and Adam confirming “that we have amicably separated”.

The couple apparently decided to part last week because of Nicole’s ongoing problems with her weight and lifestyle.

A source told the New York Post: “After they got back together for the second time, she said she would improve her eating habits and stop her unhealthy extracurricular activity [such as going out so much].”
