Tom Cruise and Katie HolmesTom Cruise is planning a hilltop home for his family, overlooking the San Fernando Valley.

The Church of Scientology reportedly bought the building plot last year and passed it along to Tom, who then bought the adjacent estate. The star will knock down an existing property and then spend a reportedly $25million building a dream home for fiancee Katie Holmes and his children Isabella, Connor and new baby Suri.

According to an inside source, Cruise intended to buy the final existing property on the hill but the occupying family refused to sell.
