Kate Moss to star with Johnny Depp in Michael Hutchence’s biopic

I wonder what Vanessa Paradis feels about Johnny Depp starring with Kate Moss. Why doesn’t she play Paula Yates? I thought Johnny was deeply committed to Vanessa.

That thought occured to me, as well, Mary. Didn’t Depp have Moss’ name tattooed on him? (Or, maybe that was Wynona).

Anyway, I’d feel a little nervous about this if I were Vanessa.

With any luck, Doherty will be hanging out at the set, keeping an eye on the love of his life…. if Depp gets too close to her, he can spray her with infected blood or something. *grinning*

Paula Yates was clever, quirky & sharp witted – as Hutchence sang – ‘she filled my head with repartee’ - Kate is beautiful but neither her looks nor her personality are remotely Paula. I can see Kate playing Helena Christenson and I think the only reason they want her playing Paula is to place the final focus in the film on her & Depp (to create a weird parallel) which kind of takes away from Michael & Paula as the film is supposed to be about Michael Hutchence after all…..

Does it matter if he’s committed to anyone guys are guys they go with anything that has a hole between there legs,there doesnt have to be chemistry for depp to get her into bed were not forgetting she slept with smack rat doherty are we anythings got to be a better shag than that

Johnny Depp playing Hutchence seems OK. But Kate Moss playing Yates is a bit strange especially considering she’s never acted before. And she also acts and looks nothing like her. Kate will also have to have her hair cut short and bleached for the role - not sure how that will fit in with her modelling.

Johnny was put on this earth to please women and rock their world. Not to be committed.

Johnny says he hasn’t been approached to do the film, says he would not like to, especially since they were good friends. Why the buzz about Kate? Since he’s already said he’s not doing the film??

I think Johnny Depp is a great actor, hes an ok choice to play Michael Hutchence, however im not conviced about Kate Moss, i think they should have gone for an unknown actress. I really hope they pull this movie off, Michael Hutchene was a legend.

NO!!!! Paula Yates was my idol whilst growing up. Kate Moss isn’t worthy of playing the part of Yates along side Depp. I’m growing to dislike Moss more and more each day.

johnny won’t play michael..he doesn’t consider himself appropriate for the role cause first hutch was his friend and second he was a god..
