Kylie Minogue admits to being broody but has no immediate wedding plans

Kylie Minogue has revealed she’s getting broody but isn’t going to rush into it.

After turning 38 last week, the star revealed: “Yes, I feel broody - It’s only natural. It hasn’t happened yet, but I hope it will some day.”

“Family as a whole is very important to me, and I think I will need that more as I get older.”

She also has no immediate plans to marry partner Olivier Martinez, despite calling him “wonderful” and “lovely”, and commenting that “this relationship is meant to be.”

“It seems a recent fashion to rush into marriage, but that has never been for me.”

“I think it all comes from my parents. Their marriage is a great thing to aspire to.”

She also confessed to considering retiring from her pop career after being left exhausted from her recent treatment for breast cancer:

“I have thought of retiring to a little house and giving it all up, but I always look forward. I’m not a great believer in looking back.”

“I’ve always lived in the moment because I know more than most how things can suddenly drop from the sky and shake everything up.”
