Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes finalise prenuptial agreement
Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have reportedly finalised their prenuptial agreement ahed of their wedding next month.
Katie will receive $3million a year for each year that she is married to Tom, up to a maximum of $33million. She will also receive a home in Montecito, California, according to Life & Style Weekly. If the marriage last longer than 11 years but then breaks down, Katie will be entitled to half of all Tom’s assets under Californian property law.
An inside source has told the magazine that, despite earlier objections, Katie’s parents are now encouraging their daughter to marry Tom: “If she walks now, Tom will fight her for custody of [their daughter Suri], and Katie can’t outlast him in court.”
“She knows she needs to marry him to get the money to fight him for custody, if it comes to that.”

OK I’ve never been divorced and had to fight for custody of kids, but I didn’t know the dad even had a chance at getting custody if the parents weren’t married. I don’t know if I believe this rumour. Katie isn’t poor and her dad’s a divorce attorney who I’m sure has connections, I’d think she’d be able to get custody of Suri. This prenup would just encourage her to stay in a bad relationship longer (11 years to get the max. amount of money?). I think it speaks badly of Tom and the relationship if custody of Suri is an issue before they are even married (that rumour I do believe). Can we say red flag??

Is that the reason why Tom divorced Nicole after 10 years? I can’t believe this guy.
